If you are using Chrome, click the red hand button at the top right of the screen:
Then select: Don't run on pages on this site
If you do it correctly, the red hand will turn to green and you will no longer see this message.
It will only work when clicking the banner at the very bottom of the page. It will not work when clicking the SciFi Section banner on the side of the page.
Also, page caching may interefere with this working for you, as I just updated the base of VR bases today. Make sure you're not viewing a cached page.
I cleared my cache and it still didn't work. However, once I logged in manually to scifisection it worked just fine and I can now go back and forth without typing in my password again. As soon as I clear my cache I need to log into each manually for it to work though.
If you log in manually, you're doing just that. The banners are irrelevant. Dark Network cookies stay active until the browser is closed, or until roughly 45 minutes passes of innactivity.
Well, I guess its on my end then because I tried it with the newest Firefox and the newest Opera browsers with a fresh cache and it doesn't work with either one. I guess I'll just have to pop in my password when I need to.
Is this at all related to the issue I keep having, where after I log in, the first time I try to send a message or post in the forum, I'm logged out and have to re-enter my password? It happens ONLY the first time I try, and it happens without fail.
This also means that upon logging in, the first post I make in the forum is deleted because I'm logged out after trying to post it.

Are you saying that if I am I logged in on VR and click the one for Scifisection I should be auto logged into the other site?
Maybe I am misunderstanding but it didn't work for me and I'm using Firefox.

I just verified it works with FireFox 3.0.4.

It didn't work for me either, and I emptied my cache and cookies and tried again... Still, nada! :(

Despite my best efforts, this issue is very browser-related. A solution for all may be impossible.
